Paul Lasiuk

Following a corporate career that included Proctor & Gamble GmbH, Eli Lilly International and Bain & Company, Paul co-founded, built and monetized multiple healthcare enterprises including Healthy Interactions and Medcurrent.  Paul co-founded and invested in and was the CEO of Healthy Interactions.

Healthy Interactions developed an innovative approach to engaging people with chronic conditions.  Healthy Interactions partnered with over 20 leading global disease associations such as the American Diabetes Association, Diabetes UK, Canadian Diabetes Association and the International Diabetes Federation.  The disease associations’ subject matter experts worked with Healthy Interactions to develop programs that aligned with local clinical guidelines and cultural nuances.  When Healthy Interactions was sold, it had improved over 40 million lives of people with diabetes and other chronic conditions in over 100 countries and in 30 languages.  Healthy Interactions trained, supported and provided tools to over 130,000 licensed healthcare professionals.  There were over 60 independent studies validating the efficacy of the Healthy Interactions programs to improve engagement, care plan commitments, clinical outcomes and related medical expenses.  Healthy Interactions was acquired in 2021.

Medcurrent developed a clinical decision support software that seamlessly integrates into health system EHRs.  The Medcurrent platform used leading association evidence based rules, pulling patient data from the EHRs to advise healthcare professionals on appropriate radiological panels to order and appropriate clinical lab use.  In so doing, Medcurrent’s platform improves the use of evidence based rules, optimal use of radiology and lab assets.  The use of Medcurrent’s clinical decision support platform improved ordering efficiency, improved the standard of care, and lowered medical expenses.  Medicurrent platforms are in use in 8 countries, including a 40% marketshare in the UK.  Medcurrent was acquired in 2024.

Paul has other investments, mostly in healthcare related enterprises.
